FSA in Tennessee administers farms loans, farm programs, conservation and stewardship incentives, disaster assistance and food aid across the country and around the world.
 
 
  Mike Mayfield, County Executive Director
Mike has worked for USDA-FSA for the past 23 years. He is a graduate of University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a B.S. in Animal Science. Mike was born and raised in Giles County. He is responsible for supervision of the office’s day-to-day business and overseeing the management of all programs.

 Betsy Tucker, Program Technician
Betsy began working for USDA in 1990, serving in Lawrence County the first 7 years and in Giles County since. Betsy is responsible for the Direct and Counter-cyclical (DCP) Program, Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) Program, Supplemental Revenue Assistance Payments (SURE) Program, Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), Emergency Conservation Program (ECP), Grassland Reserve Program (GRP), and Farm Reconstitutions.

  Andrea Stafford, Program Technician
Andrea has worked for FSA since June of 2003. She has lived in Giles County all her life and attended Martin Methodist College where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She currently handles Payment Limitation/Eligibility, Non-Insured Assistance Program (NAP), Compliance, Tobacco, Farm Records, Price Support, Administrative, and Farm Storage Facility Loans.
